Apply for LASERLAB access
Proposal submission is done fully electronically, using the LASERLAB-EUROPE Proposal Management System. On the LASERLAB-EUROPE home page , you will find a button CONTINUE on the right bottom part of the page, clicking this button will you lead to the electronic proposal submission tool.
Researchers can submit projects to be conducted at the PALS facility, usually for a period between one and three weeks. Access implies infrastructural, logistical, technical and scientific support. Prospective applicants are advised to contact local contact points at PALS in their respective area of research.
For the projects having passed successfully the evaluation and selection process the access is offered free of charge; travel and living expenses are covered by the host institution.
Guidelines for filling the Application forms
The proposals within the LaserLab calls should be submitted electronically through the Proposal Submission engine of LASERLAB-EUROPE.
When submitting your proposal, you will be invited to provide:
- General information about the project, information about yourself and your home institution. To prepare your application, you may download here a document showing the items to be filled in the online formulary.
- a working plan, specifying if any support from the host institution is required, evaluating the effort to be done to prepare the experimental run and to exploit the results;
- Pdf file with details about scientific background and rationale of your project, laser and instrumental requirements, duration and tentative scheduling of the project, and including your CV. The template for this document is here in DOCX format.
